Produced by Lakshmi movie-makers, a very big banner in Tamil Nadu.

Sarath Kumar with whom I had already worked in Vedan, was my hero in this film. Pooja Batra, Devayani, Delhi Ganesh, Vivek, Vadivelu, Maninvannan, Raghuvaran, Anand Raj were the others in the cast. Music was by Deva, my favourite music director to work with.

It was a different film for Sarath Kumar, who is generally into action films. It was a story of Surya, played by Sarath Kumar, and an orphan boy called Raja. It was an emotional film set in a typical Chennai flat, with brilliant performances from both Sarath kumar and little boy.

The film was well received by critics but not very much appreciated by the public. It was basically due to the image-changing role for Sarath Kumar. But then he liked the role immensely and gave a very convincing performance of a lonely father with a tragic past finding peace and solace in the little boy.
